Fraser Gardening Attempts

So here are some pictures of our Family Home Evening activity on Monday. It was fun. Tanner and Josh were brave enough to help Neal till and all three boys enjoyed planting the seeds and plants we had purchased. A list of our vegatables we hope will grow: corn, peas, carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, red peppers, yellow peppers, Anaheim peppers, zucchini, yellow squash, and a "prize winning pumpkin" (We bought that particular plant due to the title on the plant. We will see how prize winning it will be.). We also have our raspberry starts and fruit trees. I would also like to plant some melons when I gets a bit warmer. All looked very promising until Wednesday. It's been raining for the past three days and so consequently our garden spot looks more like a small lake right now. Can plants and seeds drown?

Looks like your boys were having a blast. Good luck with all the gardening! I hope that it turns out well and that your lake has dried out. (=

Ooohhhh . . . yummy, yummy, yummy! Now I am the jealous one. Is that a bum I see in the second picture? :) Oh, and hi to Neal since we didn't see him this past weekend. I hope the project turned out okay.
